What is Carf?

CARF is an international, independent, nonprofit accreditor of human service providers and networks in the areas of aging services, behavioral health, child and youth services, employment and community services and medical rehabilitation. The accreditation services are provided throughout the CARF family of organizations, which includes CARF international, CARF Canada, and CARF-CCAC.

What does our accreditation mean to the people and families we serve?

Our accreditation is a seal of approval announcing to the persons served and their families that Younghusband Resources provides services focused on their unique needs. It is a sign of assurance to third-party payers and governmental regulators that we have met internationally recognized standards.

Organizations that have been accredited by CARF demonstrate:

  • A higher degree of internal quality
  • Greater involvement of the persons served in their care
  • Increased cohesion among the staff members at all levels within the organization
  •  Enhanced status within the community.
